Tanzania Health and Environment Guardians (THEG) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization dedicated to improving public health and protecting the environment across Tanzania. Founded with the belief that good health and a clean, sustainable environment are fundamental human rights, THEG works to bridge the gap between health services and environmental conservation at community level.
Our programs focus on health promotion, disease prevention, environmental protection, and climate change resilience. We engage communities through education, advocacy, and practical solutions that empower individuals, especially vulnerable groups such as women, children, and youth, to take charge of their health and surroundings.
THEG collaborates with government institutions, civil society, academic bodies, and international development partners to create lasting impact. We are committed to building a future where Tanzanians enjoy both a healthy life and a healthy environment.
